The Big Deal 2011
The Big Deal – Brightside’s partnership with University of Warwick and University of York which seeks to find tomorrow’s entrepreneurs – has just launched for 2011. During the 10 week enterprise skills programme, teams of Year 9 and 10 pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds are mentored by business professionals using the Big Deal Blogs website, as they develop ideas for a business or social enterprise to be put before a panel of investors, competing for the ultimate prize of a trip to New York.
