Independent thinktank Policy Exchange has accepted BrightsideUNIAID’s recommendations in its report on the future of university fees.
More Fees Please? argued that fees would need to rise in the future in order to protect and improve the quality of UK higher education.
However, the report says this can only happen if more money is spent on:
BrightsideUNIAID, which is mentioned in the report, welcomed the emphasis on the importance of financial, advice and guidance to ensure that students understand student support and are equipped to manage their finances at university.
BrightsideUNIAID’s Chief Executive Tessa Stone said:

It is crucial that students get accessible, jargon-free information and guidance to help them understand what support they can get and how to manage their money. If you consider a large investment, like a mortgage, you seek independent advice. It's crucial that students also get access to impartial information about student finance and we were pleased to see this highlighted in the report. Like everyone, we await the outcome of Lord Brown's Tuition fees review this summer and look forward to working with the government, of whatever colour, to share the expertise we have gained in this area. “
