The International Student Calculator is a free interactive online tool to help international students manage their money during their studies. First developed by Brightside and UKCISA in 2008, the International Student Calculator has now relaunched with a fresh new look and improved navigation. Designed to be used by international students before they arrive and during their time in the UK, the Calculator allows students to find out about funding, build a budget and discover the cost of living and studying in the UK with an interactive budget builder, advice on essentials like insurance and NHS treatment, and money-saving tips from current students.
