The Villiers Park Scholars Programme was launched in 2009 to provide an intense, four-year pathway of support for students of high academic ability from less advantaged backgrounds. Alongside a programme of residential courses and masterclasses, Villiers Park Scholars get access to a customised library of resources written by Brightside in Year 10, and to which they can upload their own articles to share with other Scholars. In Years 11 to 13 Scholars also use the platform to communicate with an online mentor recruited from leading universities and amongst Villiers Park alumni, as well as scheme co-ordinators who can update them with a calendar of upcoming events and other useful information.
